A Health Care Provider is an organisation acting as a direct provider of health care service. This definition covers Private organisations and Local Authorities with Health and Social Care responsibilities to consumers/service users. The Care Skills Register helps employers to recruit care workers to care for their service users. The employers can verify the credentials of the care workers using the Care Skills Register and can speed up the recruitment process with the assurance that the care worker is compliant.
Employers who have workers with expiring certificates, DBS or other mandatory requirements are automatically notified ; the renewal process can also be facilitated by the Care Skills Register team.
