Welcome to Care Skills Register
The Care Skills Register is a voluntary register which allows for monitoring and regulating the care provided to vulnerable individuals within our communities. The Register serves as a secure tool/system which allows both employers (Service Providers) and Care workers to deliver a service which will not only meet the standards set by regulatory bodies (such as CQC) but also importantly meet the needs of all customers who will be in receipt of a service.
The purpose of the Care Skills Register is to promote compliance through safe, effective, robust and speedy recruitment of Health and Social Care Workers.
The Care Skills Register allows care workers to set up profiles of themselves, provide a snap shot of personal information, qualification and skills; they are also able upload documents that will form part of a robust recruitment check list. These documents include, Passports, Work permits, DBS, references, Training Certificates, Supervision, Appraisals.
Employers are able to view the profile of potential applicants/care workers and care workers are able to edit/update their documents.
The documents are then checked and validated so that it is easy to identify the carers that are professional and can provide a safe and dignified care package to you or your loved one.
The Register will also serve as an Electronic monitoring tool which will notify care workers of the expiry of relevant recruitment documents, ensuring that they remain compliant at all times.
The Careskills Register will facilitate:
- Safeguarding the vulnerable
- Accessibility to vacancies
- Work ready workforce
- Safe and Secure data
- Fast-track Recruitment
- CQC Compliance
