The Care Skills Register is vigilant in identifying and monitoring, also acting upon risks and works in partnership with local authorities, care and nursing homes to protect the health, safety and well being of service users and the public.

The Care Skills Register encourages good communication and makes every effort to communicate effectively and promotes good standards of care, encouraging where relevant, effective team work.

The Care Skills Register will carry out effective reporting to relevant agencies when it is needed to protect the public.

The process and operation of the Care Skills Register conforms in relevant parts to the National Health Service Reform and Health Care Professions Act 2002 and the Health and Social Care Act 2012.
